El Nino, the Blob and the 2015 Alaska weather outlook

Given the still present, warmer than normal sea surface temperatures in the Gulf of Alaska (known as the Blob) and its influence on our weather here in Alaska, how will the building El Nino in the tropical Pacific impact our fall and winter weather?
